Eric attends Asian Pacific American Academy
Eric Nakajima attended the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) National Leadership Academy in Washington, DC on May 14 & 15th. The Academy included over 50 participants from across the United States, from Massachusetts to the Marianas Islands.
According to APAICS, there are only 128 Asian and Pacific Americans elected to state offices nationwide. Eric Nakajima is one of only 245 elected local officials from the Asian and Pacific American community nationwide (www.apaics.org). Massachusetts currently has 6 Asian-American legislators in the 200 member House and Senate. Learn more here.
